Fleet logistics
Supply routes
A standing order that relaunches a Transport between two of your own settlements every time its spacecraft return. Each leg pays the same fuel, takes the same storage promises and passes the same checks as a Transport launched by hand.
Cargo rules
Each route carries one raw resource. Fuel the fleet burns can only be loaded above its round-trip reserve, and a leg never carries more than the destination can store.
- Fixed amount The same amount every trip. The route waits until the origin holds it.
- Surplus Everything above a level you keep at the origin, up to the hold.
- Top up Refills the destination up to a target.
How legs run
- Next leg Launches when the previous leg is home, checked every minute.
- Nothing to send The route stays active and checks again after 10 min.
- Edits Apply from the next leg. A leg in flight finishes as it launched.
- Recall Recalling a leg pauses its route.
- Delete A leg in flight still returns home.
A route pauses when
The pause shows the reason. Fix it, then resume the route.
- Ownership Either settlement is no longer yours.
- Spacecraft The dedicated spacecraft are not at the origin.
- Fuel The origin cannot cover the round-trip fuel reserve.
- Storage The destination has no room for the leg.
- Hold A fixed amount no longer fits the spacecraft.
- Launch checks Any other Transport check fails, such as unfinished research.
Limits
- Missions Transport only. Routes never run combat missions.
- Destinations Your own settlements only, never another commander.
- Speed and fuel No bonus. Legs cost the same as a manual Transport.
