Dismantling equipment

Select available equipment at this settlement and review its resource return before queuing. The Yard holds the original items until their recovered materials can be delivered. No credits are charged.

  • Eligible items Stationed spacecraft and defenses, plus undeployed weapons, drive engines and components. Mission, repair, market and supply-route commitments remain unavailable.
  • Quoted recovery Yard level improves the nominal factor from 30% to 50%. The actual return is limited by the item’s material provenance, condition and current buyback value; review the quoted resources.
  • Value limits Recovered resources stay below the item’s automatic-buyback payout at both reference and buyback prices, and below 60% battle-wreckage recovery. Dismantling cannot create a profitable manufacture-and-recycle loop.
  • Damaged equipment Missing armor reduces the recovered materials. A partial batch carries its proportional share of the stack’s damage.
  • Cancellation Before delivery, cancel to return the same quantity, condition and original embodied mass. No resources are recovered by a cancelled order.
  • Storage Raw output needs free shared storage at completion. A blocked batch waits; it never discards recovered materials. Stationed hulls and defenses do not free depot storage when queued.
  • Queue limits Up to 100 units per batch and 24 hours of queued work. Batches run in order; quoted terms and material snapshots stay fixed.
