Officer posts
Quantum Computing unlocks the Staff Academy. Each completed Academy level opens one post, up to five. Officers run the standing orders you choose for this settlement and show their last action and any wait or pause reason.
- Foreman Assigns idle mining workers using your resource split, preserving workers you already assigned. One Foreman per settlement.
- Quartermaster Queues components toward your stock target when the Manufacturing Plant is idle and the ordinary resource, unlock and storage checks pass. Several Quartermasters may cover different components.
- Chief Engineer Works through your short ordered list of building upgrades, starting only affordable, unlocked work through the normal construction checks. One Chief Engineer per settlement.
- Manual control Configure, pause or dismiss officers at the Academy. They never buy from the market, rush, cancel, demolish or hire mining workers. They spend resources and components only on the ordinary work they queue.
- Progression Each level adds one post. Starpass gives no extra posts and no wage discount.
Weekly wages
Review the home-currency wage before hiring or resuming an officer. Hiring pays the first week; active officers renew automatically until paused or dismissed. Wages go to the system reserve.
- Wage per officer 300 home-currency credits per prepaid seven days, with no separate hiring fee.
- Unpaid wages An officer pauses when the next week cannot be paid. No debt or accumulated missed-week bill is created. Resuming buys a new week from the server time; orders never run retrospectively over an unpaid gap.
- Activity The Academy records actions and reasons for waiting. Seren and the sign-in debrief can explain those records without hiring officers or renewing wages.
